Gold Museum: It is a retention and excavation of culture and heritage of the gold mining process during Japanese occupation.  The museum still keeps the biggest gold brick in Taiwan.  The Japanese style of architecture is also worth for a visit.

Gold Falls: Because of the spring water and the rainwater infiltration into the gold mine area of Chinkuashih and Jiofen, the falls were polluted by oxidation of the metal ore and formed very special golden waterfalls.

Jiufen:  Once the mountain town abandoned after digging gold fever subsided, the town is bustling again because of the movie “City of Sadness” and becomes as the most popular and longest old street in Taiwan.  It provides a wide range of souvenirs and snacks, attracting a large number of tourists.  If you come to Jiufen do not miss the famous snack – the taro balls.

Taipei 101 Shopping Mall (Observatory own expense): Taipei 101 with height of 508 meters is a new landmark in Taipei.  This building is an integration of the classical Oriental culture and Taiwan local characteristics offering elegant and spacious shopping space within the shopping center.

Ximending : Here is a collection of all the favorite of the young people nowadays including movies, fashion, popular collectables, tattoos, international cuisine, idol singer autograph … Ximending becomes teenagers new paradise.

Hsinchu City God Temple:    It is Taiwan’s largest City God Temple.  The temple dedicated to Wellin God, ranked the supreme deity of all City God Temples in Taiwan.  Hsinchu tourists often visit the holy land, in which there are a considerable number of renowned Hsinchu snacks such as pork ball soup, rice noodle, oyster omelets, Rouzao rice, four God soup … await for you to taste.

Day3      TUE Hsinchu – Chiayi

ZhongsheFlower Market:  Different beautiful land scaping throughout the year, Taiwan’s largest tourism for the flowers, and often married couples in this wedding picture.

Wenhua Road Night Market: Every day after night falls, vendors offering the newest fashion and a variety of goods, as well as hawkers selling local delights, begin to emerge. In a blink of an eye,the two-lane road is turned into a hustling thoroughfare. Stores by the road and hawkers serving steaming hot gourmet snacks attract flocks of people every night.

Day4      WED Chiayi – Kaohsiung

Buddha Memorial Center: Built to worship buddha’s relic, the construction combines both Chinese and foreign techniques and skills.  The main statue of the temple is 108 meters high and considered as the tallest statue of the world.

E-DA World Theme Park: E-DA Theme Park built in Greece construction style.  The Park is divided into three main areas: “Acropolis” with elegant style, “Santorini City” with romantic style and mythical “Trojan Castle”.  There are 47 facilities in the park with the most exquisite architectural scene.

Day5      THU Kaohsiung – Taichung

SUN moon Lake: The SUN Moon Lake, located in the middle of Taiwan, with an elevation of 748 meters above sea level, is the only natural big lake in Taiwan. The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name SUN Moon Lake.

Wen-Wu Temple: Located in the northern waist, dedicated to Confucius (Wen-sheng), Yue Fei and Guan Yu (Wu Sheng), named after temples built along the mountain.  The temple consisted of three sections, colored golden-yellow, is a typical northern China styled momentum.

Fengjia Night Market: It is one of Taichung’s famous commercial business districts, covering approximately one kilometer in diameter around Feng Chia University and includes the Fengjia-Wenhua Night Market, Fengjia Rd., and Fuxing Rd. In this CBD, you can find delicious snack foods and quality clothes at reasonable prices to express your unique personality.

Day6      FRI Taichung – Taipei

Martyrs’ Shrine: The place is for commemoration of the martyrs for the country.  The guards in front of the gate do not move exactly like a statue no matter how you tease them.  The ceremony of the handover is the most entertained activity.

Miramar Shopping Mall: Miramar Shopping Mall is the popular place in Taibei area, on the top floor has Ferris wheel, you can go at on your own expense, in addition to a variety of counters and stores within the district, basement and international cuisine food can go to taste. Shihlin Night Market: It is one of the most popular night markets in Taipei City, known for its traditional snacks such as chicken steak, smelly tofu, oyster dumplings, frog eggs and Shihlin sausages and more. Shihlin Night Market is not only good for food but also a good choice of shopping.
